Volunteer Work South Africa

Volunteering in South Africa
Volunteer work in South Africa offers anyone a passion for animals and a really rewarding hands-on experience on the southernmost point of Africa.
The monkey sanctuary near Pretoria needs your help urgently as they have too many monkeys and not enough hands! This sanctuary aims to help injured, orphaned young and elderly monkeys . You will nurse them back to health and where possible try to give them a better quality of life where rehabilitation back into the wild is not possible.
Volunteers will be involved in many tasks can vary from preparing food, checking animals and devising and helping with stimulation activities for monkeys who are unable to be released back into the wild. Volunteer work in South Africa offers volunteers an opportunity to provide urgent assistance to a much loved family run project where there are never enough hands or time in the day to get round to all the daily chores that are required.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both animal lovers, and people who wish to take up a career in animal care, to spend time nursing sick animals back to health, and to be a real benefit as a South African Volunteer.
