Volunteer with animals

Volunteer in Mexico Guadalajara Zoo

Voluntary work abroad with animals

Choose from two great projects on opposite sides of the Atlantic; in South Africa working with a monkey sanctuary or on a stunning tropical island off the coast of Honduras.

Both projects provide a live-in, shared volunteer group experience so no travelling each day and great opportunities to make friends easily. With staff on hand at all times for support and advice who you will also be living and working alongside, these two projects provide a life-changing experience with new friends for life.

If you are travelling with a friend who would prefer not to work directly with animals, both projects provide opportunities away from direct animal care. The Honduras project also needs visitor guides and some help with general cleaning and maintenance. In South Africa, with over 70 animals to look after and not enough hands, there is also always some maintenance work or animal food prep needed.

Volunteer at animal projects and we guarantee you will never forget the experience!
