Volunteers help with tending to the needs of some of the monkeys, turtles, birds, snakes, ocelots, jaguars and pumas at the Santa Cruz zoo. Duties could include looking after sick animals, preparing food, feeding animals, assisting with veterinary care, cleaning cages, basic zoo maintenance or monitoring the animals.
