How to Make Spinning Paper Tops

You will need:
2 photocopies of template for each model,
scissors,
sellotape,
coloured pencils/felt tips,
pencils/strong straws,

Instructions:

These spinning tops are easy and quick to make.

Cut out two copies of the template for each model.

Colour the separate portions to make an interesting pattern.

Fold along the inner edges to make a five-sided pyramid and sellotape it together.

Repeat the process with the second pyramid.

Now join them together. (See diagram)

Push a pencil or strong straw through both holes.

Now spin the top.
