You will need:
a cereal box or similar (see “How to make a cardboard box”)
scissors
six large rubber bands
sellotape
paper towel roll
coloured pencils/crayons
Instructions:
Cover the outside of the box with white paper and then decorate the whole box.
Cut four slits about 150mm long at the bottom of the paper towel roll.
Fold each slit outwards.
These slits are how you will attach the paper towel roll onto the cereal box to make the neckpiece.
Cut a hole in the middle of the box about 10cm in diameter.
Attach the paper towel roll to the box to make the neck of the instrument.
Stretch the six rubber bands from one end of the box to the end of the neck section.
(Put three rubber bands on one side of the neck and three rubber bands on the other side).
